The number of homicides per 100.000 inhabitants. The official definition of intentional homicide, unlawful death deliberately inflicted on one person by another person (OECD, 2011), is used. The dataset excludes civilian and military deaths inflicted during inter-state wars and deaths caused by civil wars (OECD, 2014).
