Bukola ‘Buki’ Gbede is a Communications and Media Specialist. She has over ten years experience in Journalism, Public Relations and Media.
In the course of her career, Buki has worked as the Communications and Media Officer for the Development Information Centre, (a project of the United Nations and World Bank) in Nigeria. She was also Media Attaché to the Permanent Delegation of Nigeria to UNESCO. She is currently the Project Director of MEDIA + MISSION, a Social Enterprise that promotes Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue for social development and change.
As an emerging leader, Buki’s viewpoint is thus; “Innovation Today for a Better Tomorrow” – Innovation stimulates dialogue and through cross-cultural dialogue and knowledge sharing, we can attain a definite global pathway to sustainable development. I am truly certain that Innovation in our thought patterns and social behaviour will influence organizations: cultures, systems and the overall society.” Buki is a member of UNESCO’s GAPMIL (Global Alliance and Partnership for Media and Information Literacy) and she speaks English, Yoruba and French.

Remi Oladele has more than 14 years of professional experience in international relations, international development public policy, technical cooperation and multilateral diplomacy, including 5 years of post-doctoral independent and commissioned research in a Government’s mission and consultancy to a United Nations Specialized Agency. He presently works as a Senior Research Officer at the Permanent Delegation of Nigeria to UNESCO and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Arts and Social Sciences of the National Open University of Nigeria.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Education (Political Science Minor) from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He also holds a Masters Degree in International Affairs as well as a PhD in International Relations and Diplomacy from the “Centre d’Etudes Diplomatiques et Stratégiques of the “Ecole des Hautes Etudes Internationales”, Paris.
