In his article titled, ‘Nigeria committed to good governance and fighting terror’, published by the Washington Post ahead of his historic meeting with President Barack Obama of United States, President Muhammadu Buhari declared on Monday 20th July, 2015 that it would neither be prudent nor serve the interests of sound government for him to have formed his cabinet immediately he was inaugurated on May 29.
The conclusion is that he may not appoint his Cabinet Ministers before September, 2015, only after four Months into his inauguration.
There has been many speculations, observations and criticism around this subject.
In my opinion, it seems prudent for the Nigeria President who preached change to take careful step in making sure that the right people are selected to carry the programme of change through, but I would like to throw the topic open for our discussion. So what do you think? Put your comments below.
Hoping he’ll find the right people to appoint, while wondering if there are still saints in the land?
